On the afternoon of the 15th, the National Assembly's Environment and Labor Committee held a national audit of the presidential social dialogue organization, the Economic and Social Labor Committee, and organizations belonging to the Ministry of Employment and Labor. On this day, Hani was called as a reference and Kim Joo-young, CEO of Adore and Chief Personnel Officer (CHRO), were called as witnesses, respectively, and asked about idol bullying and workplace bullying. Hani is the first K-pop idol singer to attend a parliamentary audit.
Earlier in September, Hani hosted an emergency YouTube live broadcast with the members and complained of bullying, saying she was told to 'ignore" by another label manager in Hive. The members of New Jin's claim that they informed the situation to Kim Joo-young, CEO of A-Door, but that there was no action.

There were about three other (label) team members waiting, and a female manager passed by. I said hello to the members well at that time, and 5 to 10 minutes later, they came out again. As I came out, the manager made eye contact with me, and explained to the members who followed me, 'I ignored you as if I didn't see you.'"
In the meantime, "I didn't understand if this had to happen. But this problem was not just once or twice. If I don't come out here, I'll move on quietly. And it's something that anyone can suffer from. I came out with the hope that no one else would suffer like this," he said, explaining the reason for his attendance at the parliamentary audit.
Citing other cases, he also supported the claim that he was ostracized in Hive. Hani said "It wasn't just the incident. I've encountered a lot of high people since the beginning of my debut. Whenever we encountered each other, he never received a greeting." he said with the chairman of Hive in mind, Bang Si-hyuk.
"I understood that it is culture to be polite to an older person while living in Korea, but I think it is not polite as a human being to not receive my greetings regardless of my job."
In addition, it was very ambiguous to confirm and it was difficult to tell anyone because he said \'Ignore you'. Because honestly, it feels like only those who have been beaten can feel it. Honestly, I thought it was my feeling, but when I see what's going on, it's like that."
Hani said "I have a job with the manager I told you about earlier, and I recently saw employees swearing at Newzins on an app called Blind. And I also heard a recording of the head of the PR team at the company trying to lower our Japanese performance. Looking at that, I'm convinced that our company hates us as well as how I felt."
Then "When I first told CEO Kim Joo-young about this situation, he said there was no evidence. You said there was a CCTV, but you said there was only a greeting. I definitely explained it to you, but I didn't understand if there was only a scene of greeting, so I checked with CCTV that I would check it myself. But he really only left that video, and there wasn't any behind it."
Also "But at that time, I was anxious about everything that the CEO changed his words. And since I'm a foreigner, I don't understand Korean 100% perfectly, so I recorded it so that I wouldn't miss it because it's an important place. There is evidence of lying. First of all, I asked the director if I could ask him to face the manager. It's right to solve it and go. However, only the scene of greeting was recorded on video for 8 seconds, and the scene behind it was not shown on CCTV. If it's a misunderstanding, I want to solve it."
|
Then "Unfortunately, it was CCTV that had expired after that. I took measures as far as I could, such as checking if restoration was possible. Unfortunately, however, according to the current internal understanding, arguments are mixed with each other.
He also said, `I believe all Hani's words and arguments, and I'm trying to find data that can be proven out of frustration, but unfortunately I haven't been able to do it yet.'
Then "The manager is a manager belonging to another label. Since we are a company that works closely with artists, we collaborate with artists and members with mutual respect. Therefore, they are even making mutual respect behavior regulations and training internal guidelines regularly now. It's that kind of organizational culture."

Regarding the action of the case, "I think I have taken all the steps I can take, but seeing that Hani came to this situation with this feeling makes me look back on whether there was something I could have done better."
However, Hani said, `I'm sorry, but I don't think he did his best. There was enough to do. And you said you would keep us, but you don't seem to have the will to fight, or to do anything. But I don't think I can say that I did my best. I hope you can solve this problem quickly."
In response, CEO Kim said "As Hani said, we will listen to the artist's voice and strengthen communication." In the current situation, there are conflicting arguments between the parties, so I think it is more important than anything else to confirm the facts. We will do our best to sincerely cooperate with the ongoing Labor Office investigation so that the facts can be clearly revealed"I vowed.

The conflict between Chairman Bang Si-hyuk and former CEO Min Hee-jin was also mentioned. Hani says "I think (Hive) is trying to lower us because we're doing well. I think you did it because you didn't like us. Because of the conflict between the two sides, we can't say no." Representative Kim said, "This is separately awaiting the judiciary's judgment."," he replied.

Finally "Today is a place to deal with bullying and bullying in the workplace. I've been thinking a lot about this, but of course, I know the law doesn't solve all the problems in the world, but I don't think there will be any bullying and bullying issues in the workplace if I respect them as human beings," he added.
