Actor Song Il-guk reported that his son Song Man-se ranked third in the local kendo competition.

On the afternoon of the 23rd, Song Il-guk expressed his emotion by announcing the news of Manse's first kendo competition on his personal account.

In the photo he posted together, Manse stands proud with the certificate he received at the kendo competition. Next to it, Song Min-guk and Song Dae-han stand side by side and share their joy together.

Song Il-guk introduced the growth process of Manse in detail, saying, `I can't see the game in person because there were two performances last Sunday.' The three sons have been playing indoor soccer since the first grade of elementary school, but quit around the fifth grade as they grew in size, and when asked what kind of exercise they would start, Manse wanted kendo. Manse, who remained steadfast despite his family's persuasion, began kendo in October last year and proudly ranked third in his first competition in a year.

Song Il-guk said he was worried about whether Man-se would do well in the competition because he was soft-hearted enough to be treated unfairly by his friends at school. However, despite such worries, he won a great victory and unfortunately lost in the semifinals after more than five minutes, but praised Manse's performance, mentioning that the opponent was the final winner.

At the same time, Song Il-guk expressed his affection for his son, saying, `A guy who was like a wild bee beast is training himself little by little and becoming a man.'

Meanwhile, Song Il-guk married Jeong Seung-yeon, a judge, in 2008 and has three children, Daehan, Minguk, and Manse.
