Cube Responds to Rumors of (G)I-DLE's Jeon So-yeon Leaving

On the 25th, Cube Entertainment announced, "We are currently discussing the renewal of Jeon So-yeon’s contract. Her future schedule will proceed as planned."
Earlier, a media outlet reported that "Jeon So-yeon may leave the company as her contract renewal with Cube Entertainment has failed."
During (G)I-DLE’s third world tour [i-Dol] on the 3rd of August, Jeon So-yeon surprised fans by saying, “Should I care? My contract ends in November. No one's gonna stop me."
Cube Entertainment later clarified, “We are smoothly discussing the renewal of Jeon So-yeon’s contract. The timing mentioned refers to the end of the contract period.”
Meanwhile, Jeon So-yeon, born in 1998, is 26 years old this year. She debuted with (G)I-DLE in 2018, and the group is now celebrating its 6th anniversary. As the group’s leader, So-yeon is renowned for writing, composing, and producing most of (G)I-DLE’s songs, earning her the title of a "genius songwriting idol."
