Director Cho Hyun-chul Wins Best New Director at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards

On the afternoon of the 29th, the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards were held at KBS Hall in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
Director Cho Hyun-chul was praised for giving warm comfort by delicately and emotionally capturing the friendship and love of the two high school students in 'You and I'. Therefore, he won the Rookie Director Award after competing with prominent candidates such as "'She's Dead' Kim Se-hwi, 'Handsome Guys' Nam Dong-hyeop, 'Fast Lives' Celine Song, 'Jangson' Oh Jung-min.
Director Cho Hyun-chul laughed, saying, "(Park) Jung-min is watching from behind, so I'm scared." Then "I can't think of anything. Jung-min, thank you for making a difficult appearance in our movie. Thank you to the actors and staff. I sincerely thank the producer for being with me for a long time preparing for the movie from beginning to end. Our movie is still in the theater. The Blue Dragon Film Awards, which marks its 45th anniversary this year, is the most prestigious award ceremony in Korea, where Korean filmmakers and fans come together to celebrate the achievements of Korean films over the past year.
