On the 8th, the Recording Academy of the United States, which hosts the 'Grammys', announced the list of nominees for the '67th Grammy Awards'. This year, BTS RM, J-Hope, V Jungkook, BLACKPINK Lisa, and TWICE challenged, but not a single K-pop singer was included in the candidate list.
The Associated Press pointed out racism, saying that Latin music was missing from the nomination, and K-pop was the same.

BTS is the only K-pop singer who has been nominated for the Grammy Awards. BTS was nominated for the third consecutive year from 2020 to 2022 in the 'Best Pop Duo Group Performance' category.
