Actor Shin Ye-eun revealed the behind-the-scenes story of her engrossed in practicing Gukgeuk for the filming of Jungnyeon.

On the afternoon of the 20th, Shin In-eun met with Sports Chosun at a place in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and responded to an interview to commemorate the end of 'Jungnyeon'.

tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Jungnyeoni (played by Choi Hyo-bi, director Jeong Ji-in)', which ended on November 17, depicts the period of entering and growing up in a women's national theater company with a natural age of girls right after the Korean War in the 1950s. It was greatly loved by viewers due to the fresh material of women's Gukgeuk and the actors' passionate performance.

In the play, Shin Young-eun played Heo Young-seo, Yoon Jeong-nyeon's rival in tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Jungnyeon', with a solid ability to sing, dance, and act, and a good family background.

Shin Ye-eun "It was difficult at first because I was not familiar with the genre of Gukgeuk even before filming."," he said, describing the difficulties he experienced during the practice.

In particular, he said that he made special efforts to play the role of a Bangja in 'Chunhyangjeon' and practiced with Bangja props all day long for Bangja acting. On the road and at work, whenever I had time, I worked hard, repeating the Bangui's gestures and lines", he explained.

The most nerve-wracking moment while preparing for the Bangja acting was on the day of the shooting. He said "I was really nervous during the shoot. I was also proud that people around me said, "Why do you always carry props like whips? It was a filming prop."," he recalled.

In the meantime, "I had to learn all the dance, sound, and acting, but I was afraid of the genre I encountered for the first time, but the moments when I gradually adapted and took the stage remained a very precious memory. I gained more confidence because the teachers said 'It's a stage constitution'" behind the scenes.

Meanwhile, 'Jungnyeon' ended splendidly on the 17th with a 16.5% viewer rating based on Nielsen Korea.
