The Gyeonggi Northern Police Agency applied for an arrest warrant for AfreecaTV BJ A on charges of blackmail under the Specific Economic Crime Weighted Punishment Act on the 13th.
According to the police, A recorded a conversation with Kim Junsu and a voiceover of sexual intercourse after getting to know him in 2019. He is also accused of extorting 840 million won from Kim Junsu 101 times from September 2020 to last month by threatening to distribute it on social media.
It was investigated that A committed such a crime with the aim of paying for drug administration. In fact, A is being tried in a drug-related case at the Seoul Central District Court, and the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office is also investigating the case related to A.
Kim Junsu recently held a joint concert with Kim Jae-joong, who left TVXQ together and worked as JYJ. Kim Junsu will perform on the stage of the musical 'Aladdin' from the 22nd.
