NewJeans' Ultimatum Stay or Leave HYBE?

What choice will the group NewJeans make.

D-Day, set by NewJeans for the termination of the exclusive contract, is approaching. On the 13th,
NewJeans sent a proof of content to NewJeans, demanding the return of former Ador CEO Min Hee-jin, thorough fact-finding and stern measures for Hive's internal documents, which include the phrase 'NewJeans', and an official apology from the manager who told him to ignore Hani. The members declared that they would terminate the exclusive contract if the above requirements were not corrected within 14 days.

In fact, however, chances are slim that Odor and Hive will accept the demands of the members.

Former CEO Min Hee-jin has already resigned from his position as an in-house director of Door on the 20th and is engaged in an all-round lawsuit against Hive. Former CEO Min filed a lawsuit for damages worth 5 billion won to BELIFT LAB, claiming that ILLIT plagiarized NewJeans, and sued officials, including Kim Tae-ho, CEO of
BELIFT LAB, on charges of defamation under the Information and Communication Network Act. He also accused Hive Chief Public Relations Officer Park and Chief Public Relations Officer Cho of professional breach of trust, claiming that they caused serious damage, such as reducing the performance of New Jeans and Adore. Min and Hive have already crossed an irreversible river.

In addition,
BELIFT LABeven sent out an official position that the Irish manager never told Hani to ignore him. Under these circumstances, it is difficult to reverse the policy of 'principle management' that Hive has adhered to and accept NewJeans' will.

As a result, the industry widely analyzed that NeaJeans laid the groundwork for his separation from Hive. In particular, there were many opinions that the emphasis on bullying in the workplace was a device to determine the cause of the breakdown of trust relationships in lawsuits for termination of exclusive contracts. However, if
NeaJeans leaves HYBE, it may have to pay an astronomical penalty of between 400 billion won and 620 billion won, and the possibility of a reversal cannot be ruled out at all as Ador said, `We will do our best to solve it wisely and continue to be with the artist.'

Attention is focusing on whether New Jeans will leave Hive and build a new house with his mother Min Hee-jin, or whether he will succeed in a dramatic reconciliation and remain in the door.
