On the morning of the 25th, Udavi met with Sports Chosun and responded to an interview commemorating the end of the `Yoon-yi' and said, `This work was a valuable experience that made me learn the depth of acting and realize the importance of challenges.'
'Jeongnyeoni' is a work about the period of entry and growth of a female national theater company with a natural sound genius right after the Korean War in the 1950s. It was greatly loved for its fresh material and the actors' passionate performance, and it ended successfully with its own highest viewership of 16.5%. Hong Joo-ran, played by Udavi, appeared as a best friend of his retirement age in the play and showed a unique friendship. In the wake of various incidents, he impressed viewers with the ending of leaving the Kukgeuk Company, choosing to marry for the hospital expenses of his sick sister, although he was far from and close to the retirement age.
As for how he felt about playing Hong Ju-ran, Wu Dhabi said, `Ju-ran has similarities to me, but there were many differences. While acting, I learned about Juran's kind and warm heart, and I wanted to be like myself" he said. He said that it was an opportunity to broaden the scope of acting through the unfamiliar genre of Gukgeuk and the fierce practice process, "I personally experienced the charm of Korean culture while feeling the emotion of Gukgeuk 'Han".
His work with Kim Tae-ri, who played Yoon Jeong-nyeon in the play, inspired Udavi greatly. He said "Taeri always looked at the big picture and acted, showing her unshakable appearance at the center of the work. Seeing such an older sister, I came to renew my attitude as an actor, he recalled. Through workshops and on-site communication before filming, the two actually built a strong friendship, both in the play. He said "Taeri approached me first and played a lot of jokes, so I was able to act really comfortably."," he added.
His work with Shin Ye-eun, who is from the same high school, was also special. "Yeeun was a shining presence like an ace even in high school. I was reassured as a senior and I learned a more warm side through this work."
As for Jeong Eun-chae, who plays the role of Moon Ok-kyung, "Everyone looked at me in the scene," he recalled. He said, "Jeong Eun-chae was not just a scriptwriter, but an actor who became a character himself." "I want to try a cool role like Okgyeong someday." he said.
The success of `The Year of the Moon' gave the family a special experience. Wu Dhabi said "My mom doesn't usually talk about me, but she told me that her friends talked about 'Jungnyeon'." I was so proud when I heard that," he said, revealing his unique experience.
Underlining that he gained confidence and confidence in acting through 'Jungnyeon'Jungnyeon' was an opportunity for me to transform, and gave me the courage to challenge myself for a wider variety of roles in the future," Udavi said. He said, `Someday I want to be an actor who can give trust to the audience and viewers just by my name" raised expectations for his next film by expressing his aspirations.
Attention is focusing on the new appearance that Udavi, who has grown to the next level as an actor, will show in the future.
