6.3 Billion Itaewon Homes for Infants, New Owners = Full Cash Payment for 7-Year-Old Children

According to Biz Korea on the 26th, a 7-year-old child born in July 2017 purchased a detached house in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, which Yoo Ah-in sold on the 20th of last month.
A 7-year-old child who purchased the house paid 6.3 billion won in full cash without a loan after the registration of the transfer of ownership was filed with the court on the 19th.
According to the media, the seven-year-old buyer is likely to be the child of a representative couple of famous fashion brands. This is because the address was reported to the court as the residence of CEO Park and his wife when the ownership transfer registration was received.
In the past, Yoo Ah-in revealed the detached house on the first basement floor to the third floor above the ground through MBC 'I Live Alone'.
Yoo Ah-in bought the detached house for 5.8 billion won under the name of his personal agency 'U Company Limited' in 2016, and sold the house for 6.3 billion won last month.
Meanwhile, Yoo Ah-in was put on trial for administering medical propofol 181 times from September 2020 to March 2022, and illegally prescribing and purchasing 1,100 sleeping pills 44 times from May 2021 to August 2022. He is also accused of smoking hemp three times in the United States in January this year and teaching others to smoke.
The first trial court found him guilty only of habitual drug use and sentenced him to one year in prison. The charges of smoking hemp and destroying evidence teachers were found not guilty, citing a lack of evidence. Accordingly, both the prosecution and Yoo Ah-in filed an appeal for unfair sentencing.
Since then, the prosecution has demanded four years in prison, a fine of 2 million won, and a fine of 1.54 million won for infants at the final trial of the appeal trial held on the 24th. The sentencing hearing for infants will be held on February 18, 2025.
