Black and white chef Ahn Yoo-sung visited Muan International Airport with gimbap for the bereaved families of the Jeju Air disaster.

Chef Ahn Yoo-sung visited Muan International Airport on the 30th and delivered 200 servings of gimbap to the bereaved families of the Jeju Air plane accident. Chef Ahn Yoo-sung, who runs a Japanese restaurant in Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, visited the airport by preparing gimbap with his employees from early in the morning. Chef Ahn said, `Since I only have a talent for making food, I came out because I thought I would feel comfortable if I volunteered with food.' Chef Ahn plans to prepare rice cake soup on the first day of the new year and distribute it to the bereaved families.

Chef Ahn said, "(The victims) are all connected to our family members. If you cross one bridge, you will know everything. "The producer who aired with him also changed his name. I feel bad," he confessed, adding to his sadness.




Meanwhile, a Jeju Air plane crashed into the outer wall of the runway during landing at Muan International Airport on the 29th, killing 179 out of 181 passengers. Accordingly, the government declared Muan-gun a special disaster area and designated it as a national mourning period from the 29th to January 4th.
