IU and Byeon Woo-seok Cast in MBC’s Upcoming Drama

Kakao Entertainment announced that IU and Byun Woo-seok have confirmed their casting in MBC's new drama '21st Century Grand Prince's Wife (Gaje, Yoo Ah-in's play). '21st Century Grand Prince Lady (tentative title)' is a 21st century constitutional monarchy in Korea. It depicts the romance of a man who is a chaebol with everything, but who is the son of an annoying woman and a king because his status is only 'common', but who is sad because he can't have anything. MBC and Kakao Entertainment will be in charge of producing the MBC drama script contest.
IU plays the role of the second child 'Sung Hee-joo', who was born with a golden spoon and has a brilliant beauty, intelligence, and a strong desire to win. The commoner status, which he thought was no big deal, became an obstacle to his life, and he became involved with Prince Ian.
