On the 17th, the National Tax Service revealed the list of high-value and regular delinquents in 2024 through its official website. According to the list, the corporation 'Christian Memorial Center', where Lee Hyuk-jae is a representative and investor, was found to have arrears of 330 million won in two cases, including value-added tax in 2021.
In addition, Lee Hyuk-jae was listed as a delinquent under his personal name. It was confirmed that he was in arrears of 223 million won in a total of eight cases, including value-added tax that occurred in 2021, with more than 200 million won in personal arrears alone.
Accordingly, Lee Hyuk-jae's name, age, and address were released on the National Tax Service website. The National Tax Service will be subject to the disclosure of the list if the amount of arrears is more than 200 million won and a year has passed since the date of arrears.
This year, 6,033 individuals (total arrears of 4.601 trillion won) and 3,633 corporations (total arrears of 2.1295 trillion won) were newly listed, with a total arrears of 6.19 trillion won.
