Broadcaster Park Soo-hong told the news that his brother-in-law, who slandered him, was fined by the court.

On the morning of the 11th, the Seoul Western District Court sentenced Park Soo-hong's brother-in-law, identified only by his surname Lee, to a fine of 12 million won on charges of defamation under the Information and Communication Network Act.

Park Soo-hong and his wife, Kim Daye, sued Lee for defamation in October last year. According to the prosecution's investigation, Lee is accused of spreading false information that Park Soo-hong lived with a certain woman in a Kakao Talk group chat room. Earlier, the prosecution demanded a 10-month prison term for Lee, but the court concluded with a fine.
