IVE is set to release its third EP album 'IVE Empathy' on February 3. Prior to this, on January 13, a full-fledged promotion was scheduled ahead of the release of the pre-release title song 'Rebel Heart', but it was decided to postpone the schedule due to the Jeju Air plane disaster.
Meanwhile, according to the fire authorities, a Jeju Air flight from Bangkok with 181 people on board caused an accident at 9:03 a.m. on the 29th while landing on the runway at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do. The plane had 181 people on board, including 175 passengers and six crew members, and has confirmed 177 deaths and is looking for two missing people.
Among the passengers, only two crew members were rescued, and they were transferred to Mokpo Korean Hospital and Mokpo Central Hospital, respectively, and then to a hospital in Seoul.
Rescue authorities plan to turn on the lights near the accident plane and continue the search around the plane's aircraft until the remaining two are found.
