KBS Cancels Weekend Shows After Muan Airport Crash

In addition, on "2TV", regular weekend entertainment shows are deleted, and "Secrets of the Life Soldier" and "Family of Love" are alternatively organized. As a result, 'Sadanggui', '1 Night 2 Days', 'More Ddan Ddan Ddan Dda', 'Gag Concert' is cancelled".
A KBS programming official said, `To quickly deliver information on the national disaster situation, we switch to an emergency special report system and delete entertainment and comedy programs in consideration of public sentiment and social atmosphere about the national disaster.'
On the 29th, a Jeju Air passenger plane left the runway at Muan Airport in Jeollanam-do. 181 people, including 175 passengers and six crew members, were on board the aircraft, and two of them were rescued and taken to a nearby hospital.
The Jeollanam-do Fire Department is identifying the exact identity by checking the passenger list and the boarding location in the aircraft, saying that two out of 181 people are believed to have survived and the remaining 179 are all dead.
After the accident, Jeju Air said "We would like to apologize to all those affected by the Muan Airport accident" and "First of all, we will do everything we can to resolve the accident. I'm sorry to have caused you any concern", he apologized.
