Genie TV's original drama 'Namib' (scripted by Um Sung-min, director Han Sang-jae, Kang Min-gu, planned KT Studio Genie, production SLL, studio Woo Young-soo), which will premiere on December 23 (Mon), tells the story of Kang Soo-hyun (played by Ko Hyun-jung), a fired star producer, and Yoo Jin-woo (Ryeowoon), a released long-term trainee, who is moving toward their goals.
In the play, Kang Soo-hyun is struggling to achieve his goal of wanting to take responsibility for the future of his son Shim Jin-woo (Lee Jin-woo), who was hurt by his mistake. On the other hand, his son Shim Jin-woo feels uncomfortable with Kang Soo-hyun's move, but he is sagging alone in fear that his reaction will hurt his mother, making him wonder how the relationship between the mother and the child, which seems close but feels infinitely far away, will flow.

However, despite Kang Soo-hyun's story, his son Shim Jin-woo is simply responding calmly.
