Lee Jun-ho, the owner of 17.5 billion buildings, was fined billions of won in taxes No tax evasion, full payment of additional fines

It was belatedly known that group 2PM member and actor Lee Joon-ho paid a large amount of additional fines after an intensive tax audit by the tax authorities.

According to the industry on the 24th, the Seoul Regional Tax Office Investigation Bureau 2 conducted an irregular tax investigation against actor Lee Joon-ho in September last year and collected a large amount of taxes.

At that time, the tax investigation was reportedly part of the 'Corporate Business Artist Non-regular Integrated Planning and Tax Investigation' targeting high-value asset owners.

Lee Joon-ho owns two officetels located in Cheongdam-dong 'The Rivers Cheongdam', and the transaction price of one room is about KRW 1.5 billion to KRW 1.8 billion.

This year, under the name of the family corporation 'JF Company', it purchased a commercial building on Apgujeong Rodeo Street in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul for 17.5 billion won in March.

The building was purchased by actor Kang Soo-yeon, who died in May 2022, for 8 billion won in 2017. It has one basement and four ground floors.

'JF Company' currently lists Junho Lee and his parents as executives in October 2021.

Investigation Bureau 2 of the Seoul National Tax Service has conducted intensive tax investigations on famous celebrities such as actor Kwon Sang-woo and actor Lee Byung-hun as well as high-value asset holders in the past.

An official from the National Tax Service said, "Seoul National Tax Service Investigation Bureau 2 conducts tax investigations on high-value wealthy people and famous celebrities"There is no problem, but there is no case of launching a tax investigation."

As a result, it means that you cannot be free from tax omissions or deliberate tax evasion charges.

On the other hand, Lee Joon-ho reportedly explained that there was no tax evasion and that the additional tax amount was paid in full.
