Actor Lee Jung-jae's agency, the artist company, has confronted allegations that it is being investigated by financial authorities.

The artist company said on the 6th that `It is true that Wider Planet (now Artist United) was investigated by financial authorities in the past, but currently the artist company and Lee Jung-jae are not subject to investigation.'

Earlier in the day, the New Daily reported that financial authorities launched an investigation into allegations of unfair transactions, including the advance sale of Wythe Planet, in which Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woo-sung participated in the takeover battle, and seized and searched artist companies. Wythe Planet is a KOSDAQ listed company acquired by Lee Jung-jae, Jung Woo-sung, and Park In-kyu, former CEO of Wizwick Studio.

The agency said, `Lee Jung-jae has nothing to do with illegal activities such as information leakage or prior trading at the time of the paid-in capital increase of Wythe Planet to a third party.`We will actively respond to Lee Jung-jae and Artist United to resolve the misunderstanding.'

In addition, he emphasized that "We will thoroughly respond to the damage to shareholders by suing and accusing those involved in the advance purchase or information leakage through Artist United's own investigation.'
