MBC Awards Photo Time Canceled Due to Muan Airport Tragedy

MBC announced on the 29th that the photo time event for the '2024 MBC Broadcasting Entertainment Awards' scheduled for 7 p.m. today (Sunday) has been canceled due to the formation of an emergency news advisory" he said.
However, MBC said "'2024 Broadcasting Entertainment Awards' will proceed as scheduled."
On the 29th, a Jeju Air passenger plane left the runway at Muan Airport in Jeollanam-do. 181 people, including 175 passengers and six crew members, were on board the aircraft, and two of them were rescued and taken to a nearby hospital.
According to the Jeollanam-do Fire Department, two out of 181 people are believed to have survived and the remaining 179 are all dead, and the exact identity is identified by checking the list of passengers and the location of boarding in the aircraft.
