MBC Cancels 'Radio Star' on Dec. 4 Amid Martial Law Emergency

MBC was scheduled to broadcast 'Radio Star' at 10:30 p.m. on the 4th, but it was canceled as 'MBC News Special Report' was organized.
In the aftermath of Yoon Suk Yeol's declaration of emergency martial law on the 3rd, the previous day, it was replaced with a news special announcement.
As a result, the special episode of 『My 2nd Act Sunny" of 『Radio Star" starring Choo Shin-soo, Koo Hye-sun, Kwak Si-yang, and Yoon Nam-no will air on the 11th.
Earlier on the 3rd, the day before, President Yoon declared emergency martial law in an emergency public address at around 10:24 and said, `We will rebuild and protect a free Korea that is falling into the abyss of ruin.' He stressed that `we will eradicate anti-state forces and normalize the state.'
However, at around 1 a.m. on the 4th, the National Assembly passed a resolution calling for the lifting of the emergency martial law with the approval of all 190 lawmakers present. The National Assembly speaker's office said the emergency martial law was nullified.
At around 4:30 a.m. on the 4th, President Yoon withdrew the military that had been put into martial law affairs due to the National Assembly's demand to lift martial law. We will lift martial law by accepting the demands of the National Assembly through the Cabinet meeting. "However, we immediately called a Cabinet meeting, but we will lift martial law as soon as we come because the quorum of the decision was not met due to the dawn.", he explained.
