NewJeans to Perform at Year-End Stages Amid Name Dispute with ADOR

NewJeans will be on stage on the 14th '2024 Music Bank Global Festival Japan', SBS 'Gayo Daejeon' on the 25th, and MBC 'Gayo Daejejeon' on the 31st.
The most interesting part is that the members call the team name 'NewJeans'.
NewJeans claims its exclusive contract with Adore has been terminated as of Nov. 29. The members' position was that there was no obligation to file a separate lawsuit or compensate for penalties, including an application for suspension of the validity of the exclusive contract, because ADOR violated the contract, and that they would continue to use the name NewJeans.
However, intellectual property rights such as trademark rights and hit songs belong to Adore. If the contract is terminated, as NewJeans said, the name NewJeans cannot be used without consultation. Therefore, NewJeans could not sing the name of 'NewJeans' at the Yoavo concert held at Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon on the 7th.
However, since the lineup of performers on the year-end K-pop stage is still written 'NewJeans', attention is being paid to whether NewJeans can call their names.
