Newzins, despite criticism that they are spending raw energy, K-pop girl groups are the best in the world by the number of streaming songs.

According to the 2024 year-end settlement released by Spotify on the 5th, Newzins (Minji, Hani, Daniel, Harin, and Hyein) ranked fifth in K-pop artists with the most streaming sound sources in the world. This is the highest ranking among K-pop girl groups on the list. Newzins also ranked fourth, the highest among K-pop girl groups in Korea.
Newzins released a double single 'How Sweet' and a Japanese debut single 'Supernatural' this year and rose to prominence on domestic and international charts. What is noteworthy is that not only their new songs but also their existing songs have been reversely ranked, or they have demonstrated a strong sense of background by maintaining their ranking steadily.
New Jeans' unique popularity pattern, which is evenly loved regardless of new songs and previous works, has been reproduced again this year. Newzins has produced a total of 14 Spotify billion worth of streaming songs so far, and the cumulative number of Spotify streams of all songs they have released so far exceeds 5.5 billion times.
Newzins also played in the Billboard Japan 2024 Annual Chart (counting period: November 27, 2023-November 24, 2024). According to Billboard Japan on the 6th, Newzins ranked 13th, the highest among foreign artists, in 'Artist 100', which combines the points of the comprehensive song and comprehensive album.
On the overall song chart 'Hot 100', 'Ditto' and 'OMG' were ranked 61st and 77th, respectively. Newzins is the only foreign artist who has posted two songs on the chart. In particular, the two songs have been ranked in the Billboard Japan 'Hot 100' annual chart for the second consecutive year, confirming their unabated popularity.
In addition to this, Newzins' songs and albums have been on several charts, including 'streaming songs', 'download songs', and 'download albums'.

In response, the Korea Entertainment Producers Association called for a thorough investigation into illegal activities such as allegations of tempering, saying, "(Newzins) should withdraw its irresponsible claims as soon as possible and return to its original intention and continue its normal activities."
