MBC said on the 30th that the live broadcast of the "2024 MBC Song Festival" scheduled for 8:40 p.m. on December 31 (Tue) will be canceled and replaced with a recorded broadcast.
MBC expressed its deepest condolences to the victims and bereaved families of yesterday's plane crash" in memory of the Jeju Air plane crash.
The recording broadcast will be held by canceling the New Year's countdown event and reducing additional events to reflect the mood of mourning, and minimizing the stage of artists prepared with all their heart and soul.
