Meanwhile, a Jeju Air passenger plane with 181 passengers, including 175 passengers and six crew members, crashed at 9:03 a.m. at Muan Airport in Jeollanam-do, causing a fire.
According to the fire authorities, the accident is believed to have occurred while landing the fuselage due to a malfunction of the landing gear due to a bird collision.
Fire officials said they have so far recovered 125 victims and identified 22 others. Currently, the two survivors are being taken to a hospital for treatment, and fortunately, they are said to be life-threatening.
