However, in the early morning of the 4th, about 2 hours and 30 minutes after the declaration of the emergency martial law, a resolution calling for the lifting of the emergency martial law was passed by the National Assembly, and President Yoon lifted it six hours after declaring martial law and withdrew the martial law history.

However, at around 1 a.m. on the 4th, the National Assembly passed a resolution calling for the lifting of the emergency martial law with the approval of all 190 lawmakers present. The National Assembly speaker's office said the emergency martial law was nullified.
