RIIZE Postpones Fan Event in Respect of Jeju Air Disaster Mourning Period

SM Entertainment, the agency, said on Weverse on the 31st that 'R.B.R.DAY FOR NEWS YEAR's schedule, which was scheduled for January 4, 2025, has been postponed and will be held on February 8, 2025.
"Due to the current situation, additional winner announcements will also be postponed, additional winner announcements and details will be informed later."
SM said "We ask for your generous understanding and express our deepest condolences to the victims and bereaved families of the accident."
RIIZE is a special event for the fan club at KBS Arena on January 4th 'R.B.R.DAY? It was scheduled to hold 'FOR NEW YEAR', but it was postponed to February.
On the 29th, a Jeju Air passenger plane crashed into the structure and the outer wall of the airport and exploded while attempting to land at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do.
The plane was carrying 181 people, including 175 passengers and six crew members, and 179 people were killed except for the two rescued crew members.
It was the disaster that caused the most casualties among aircraft accidents in Korea. The government designated a week until January 4 as a period of national mourning.
