Netflix's 'The Trunk' Sparks Controversy Over Sex-Related Content, Actors Defend Their Roles Despite Criticism

Netflix's original series Trunk (written by Park Eun-young and directed by Kim Kyu-tae) is a story surrounding a suspicious trunk that suddenly rises to the lake one day, depicting mysterious incidents and emotional waves that take off the veil along with hidden secrets. As a means of meeting the two main characters in the play, a company that provides a fixed-term marriage service called NM appears. Because of the terms of the contract that sexual intercourse is possible here, most of the respondents responded "If this is not prostitution, what is it?"
It's a contractual marriage that's been used as a regular subject, but it's a sex-related content that's not allowed in other works or actually a conversation between the two of you. "I want to sleep with you." There was a lot of criticism from viewers over the appearance of the back.
