Netflix’s 'The Trunk' Interview Canceled Due to Emergency Martial Law Declaration

Netflix 'The Trunk' was directly hit by President Yoon Suk Yeol's declaration of emergency martial law.

On the 4th, Netflix's original series 'Trunk' announced that the interview with actor Seo Hyun-jin scheduled for today(4th) was canceled. Seo Hyun-jin was scheduled to meet with reporters at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, from 11 a.m. on the 29th of last month regarding Trunk.

However, ahead of the interview, President Yoon Suk Yeol declared emergency martial law in an emergency statement, which led to urgent discussions over the schedule and ultimately decided to cancel the interview. 'Trunk' said "The schedule for the change will be informed later"

In addition to Seo Hyun-jin, Gong Yoo and Jung Yoon-ha's interviews are scheduled on the 5th and 6th, but the two actors' interviews will also be re-announced.

In an emergency statement at 10:28 p.m. on the 3rd, President Yoon Suk Yeol declared an emergency martial law to eradicate the shameless pro-North Korean anti-state forces that are looting the freedom and happiness of our people at once and to protect the free constitutional order. As a result, the National Assembly passed a resolution at around 1:02 a.m. on the 4th calling on President Yoon to lift martial law with the approval of all 190 lawmakers, and the declaration of martial law was nullified. At 4:27 a.m., three hours later, President Yoon has lifted the emergency martial law through a public statement.
