Yoo Jae-seok Donates 55,000 Briquettes, Marking 12 Years of Giving

According to the briquette bank on the 16th, Yoo Jae-seok donated 55,000 briquettes (50 million won in donations) this year.
The briquette bank aims to distribute 3 million briquettes across the country every year, but sponsorship is not the same this year due to high prices and high interest rates. In the midst of this, Yoo Jae-seok was a great help by sponsoring briquettes.
In particular, the number of briquettes sponsored by Yoo Jae-seok for 12 years amounted to 1,016,843. It was delivered to 6,762 households nationwide. The briquettes, sponsored by Yoo Jae-seok, will be provided to about 275 elderly households living in highlands and Daldongne, including Junggye-dong and Sanggye-dong in Nowon-gu, Hongje-dong in Seodaemun-gu, and Gaepo-dong in Gangnam-gu by March next year.
Yoo Jae-seok is known to have donated since 2013 when he used the auction amount generated by the auction of his cherished items as briquettes donations, adding to the warmth.
Heo Ki-bok, CEO of the Food and Agriculture Community Welfare Foundation, said, "(After the end of the year, interest in sponsoring briquettes drastically decreases" and added, "I sincerely thank Yoo Jae-seok for delivering warm gifts to briquette families who are more difficult than anyone else."
In the meantime, Yoo Jae-seok has consistently donated to victims' neighbors and also to vulnerable women and adolescents at home and abroad during major disasters. Yoo Jae-seok's cumulative donation reportedly amounts to more than 3 billion won
Meanwhile, Yoo Jae-seok was nominated for the grand prize at the '2024 KBS Entertainment Awards', which will be broadcast live at 9:20 p.m. on the 21st (Saturday).
