SBS Entertainment Awards Rescheduled for January 29th



The SBS Entertainment Awards, which were canceled due to the national mourning period, will be held on the 29th, the first event to be held.

The SBS Entertainment Awards, which was scheduled to be held on December 31 last year, were canceled according to the period of national mourning.

SBS said at the time that it would not conduct live broadcasts and recordings.




Yoo Jae-seok, Jeon Hyun-moo, Shin Dong-yup, Lee Sang-min, Seo Jang-hoon, Lee Hyun-yi, and Kim Jong-kook will be nominated for the "2024 SBS Entertainment Awards".

Earlier, at 9:05 a.m. on December 29 last year, Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 from Bangkok, Thailand, occurred at Muan International Airport.

Two people were rescued from the accident, and all 179 others were finally confirmed dead. Police and fire authorities are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.




Regarding the disaster, the government designated the seven-day national mourning period until January 4 next year.
