On the 16th, the Ansan Branch Criminal Chamber 9 (Chief Judge Yoon Sang-do) of the Suwon District Court held a sentencing date for Lee and sentenced him to August in prison with a two-year suspended sentence.
Lee was put on trial on charges of emotionally abusing a child, including swearing at his ex-spouse in front of his children, and defaming A, who disclosed the court ruling on Lee's boyfriend B, by slandering him on the Internet broadcast.
The court said in connection with the allegations of child abuse "I admit all the allegations"It should be greatly criticized for causing serious mental damage to the legitimate custody of the child."
Regarding defamation, it is said that there was no intention of " (slandering victim A), but there was no effort to confirm the facts of unconventional content, so it is judged that there was at least "undelivered intention". In particular, considering the fact that the remarks were made during the broadcast and the relationship with the victim, it is recognized that there is a purpose of slander."
According to the ruling, Lee has been accused of defaming A by saying that the court ruling against B released by A was made (fabricated) during an Internet broadcast on April 5, 2024.
Regarding the sentencing, the court reaffirmed that it did not receive forgiveness from the victim regarding defamation, and regarding child abuse, the execution of the sentence was suspended and sentenced to two years in prison in August, citing the fact that he admitted his wrongdoing, that the victims were handed over to the custody, and that he had no criminal history.
The court also ordered Lee to complete a 40-hour lecture on child abuse prevention.
Meanwhile, Lee reported on his third birth in November last year while remarrying his boyfriend. She is now pregnant with her fourth child.
