84-year-old Choi Bul-am hopes to comfort Koreans in a difficult time to return to the table in three months

Today (2nd) afternoon KBS 1TV's New Year's Plan 'Korean Table' will air the affectionate story of a young fisherman in Pohang and his mother, who touched Choi Bul-am's heart.
The broadcast on this day depicts a young fisherman in Pohang who went on his first squid catch in the new year of 2025 through the pitch-black darkness and a mother who can't sleep while waiting for her son's safe return at the port at dawn.
The mother's meal prepared for her son, who was frozen while working in the wind, contains hot motherhood for his son, who endured a hard time with his whole body, from spicy squid radish soup that warms up from the inside to samchisirae jjigae, stir-fried dried squid, and steamed whole squid.
His son, who was on a deep-sea fishing boat at a young age of 19 for his family, and his mother's heart, feeling simple happiness, will make viewers cry.
Choi Bul-am, who was moved by the story of Pohang's young fisherman and mother, said, `I hope the new year will be a year for those who live hard to become the main characters.'

In commemoration of the Year of the Blue Snake, the Year of the Snake, Choi Bul-am, who drew his eyes on Hyeonmudo Island in Goguryeo's mural that combines turtles and snakes, left a message of support for the hopeful New Year of all viewers, saying, `I hope that the difficult times 'Korean Table' will be a program that can comfort, and purify everyone.'
The New Year's Table, which contains the mother's hot mother's heart that melts the coldness of the winter sea, can be found at 7:40 p.m. today (2nd) on KBS 1TV "Korean Table".
