Actor Wang Sung disappeared → Found in Myanmar with a shaved head.."Presumption of human trafficking"

Reuters and the Bangkok Post entered Thailand on the 7th (local time) to appear in the film Wang Sung, who went missing, was found in Myanmar, according to the report. Thai police estimated that he was apparently kidnapped by a fraudulent criminal organization seeking ransom.
Wang Sung recently entered Bangkok on the 3rd after receiving a call that he had been cast in a Thai movie through the WeChat app. Later, he met people who claimed to be filmmakers and headed to Maesot, northwestern Thailand, and lost contact.
Maesot is a border area between Myanmar's Miyawadi and a river, where fraudulent crimes and human trafficking, such as illegal online gambling and voice phishing targeting Chinese people, are known to be prevalent.
Wang Sung's disappearance was made public when his girlfriend made an emergency call on social media. Thai police, who launched an investigation, said they found Wang Sung in Myanmar on the 6th and led him to Thailand the next day. In a photo released by Thai police, Wang Sung was wearing white sportswear and shaved his head unlike when he was active.
"It appears that Pluto suffered trafficking after hearing about the casting," police said. "He was trained to commit fraud against other Chinese people in Myanmar." It said there was no circumstance that Sung had been assaulted or abused.
Thai authorities are concerned that the incident will put a brake on Chinese travel to Thailand. Of the 35.55 million tourists who visited Thailand last year, 6.74 million were Chinese tourists. Thai Prime Minister Patton Shinawatra said "We must manage this issue well so that it does not affect tourism in Thailand."
Wang Sung is known to have appeared in a number of TV dramas and films, including the films 'Yupmun 3', the dramas 'Nissian Red Yoyo (You Are My Glory)', 'Ho Yoyu Red Rang Wol Hong Pyeon', and 'Magical Gosa (The Story of the Rose)'.
