Chef Ahn Yoo-sung Delivers Abalone Porridge to Jeju Air Bereaved Families

Chef Ahn Yoo-sung, who appeared on the cooking contest program Black and White Cook, visited Muan International Airport on the 1st with chefs from black and white chefs, fellow employees, and local self-employed people to comfort the bereaved families of the Jeju Air plane disaster.

During lunchtime, Ahn delivered 1,000 servings of abalone porridge made by himself to the bereaved families.

On the reason why he prepared abalone porridge instead of rice cake soup, Ahn said, "As a chef living in Gwangju, I prepared nutritious abalone porridge to help the bereaved families regain their energy", he explained.

Then "At first, I brought 700 servings, but people working in the restaurant business near the airport cooked porridge and completed 1,000 servings."There are self-employed people who stopped operating to make food together."
