Earlier, on the morning of December 29 last year, an aircraft from Bangkok left the runway while landing at Muan International Airport in Fiji-ri, Mangun-myeon, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do. The plane was Jeju Air Flight 7C2216, which was scheduled to depart Bangkok and arrive at Muan International Airport at 8:30 a.m. that day.
