Hani ♥ Yang Jae-woong, are you preparing for your honeymoon without apologizing for the patient's death…U.N. Village buys 10 billion villas

Yang Jae-woong, a psychiatrist who caused controversy over the death of a patient, has been sold a luxury villa worth 10 billion won.

According to a certified copy of the court's register on the 7th, Yang Jae-woong sold a two-story terrace-type house of 120.83㎡ in the second exclusive area of Ranubo Hannam on UN Village Road in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul in November 2021 and transferred ownership in August last year.

The luxury villa has only seven households in total, and the industry estimates that the sale price will reach 10 billion won. As there is no separate collateral security right, Yang Jae-woong seems to have sold the household without a loan.

As a result, there was speculation that Yang Jae-woong might be preparing to marry Hani again.

Yang Jae-woong and Hani were originally scheduled to get married in September last year, but the marriage was postponed indefinitely after the death of a female patient in her 30s at a hospital run by Yang Jae-woong was belatedly known. CCTV footage released at the time shocked the employees as they tied up patients who complained of abdominal pain and did not take any action even though the patient's stomach was swollen and nosebleed.

In particular, Yang Jae-woong continued to ignore the bereaved family's son-in-law for two months in front of the hospital after the incident, but when the incident became known through the media, he announced his position through his agency and announced his marriage to Hani four days after the patient's death. Eventually, the bereaved families filed a complaint with the police against six medical staff at the hospital, including Yang Jae-woong, on charges of abandonment and professional negligence.

However, Yang Jae-woong appeared as a witness at the National Health and Welfare Commission's parliamentary audit in October last year, and it is difficult to admit his negligence." When asked by Rep. Seo Mi-hwa of the Democratic Party of Korea, "Did you meet the bereaved family and apologize?" he also drew the line "yet".
