The Berlin Film Festival Executive Committee announced on the 21st (Korean time) that director Hong's new work 'What Nature Says to You' was officially invited to the competition section of the 75th Berlin Film Festival, which will be held from February 13 to 23.

Starting with his debut film `The Day a Pig Fell Into the Well' in 1997, director Hong will be showing a total of 12 films at the Berlin Film Festival this year. He has received five awards, from 'Alone on the Beach at Night' in 2017 (Best Actress at Silver Bear) to 'Need of Travelers' last year (for the Silver Bear).
In particular, attention is paid to director Hong's invitation to the Berlin Film Festival because the news of Kim Min-hee's out-of-wedlock pregnancy, who has been having an affair with him for 10 years, has been reported.
