Hwang Young-woong's legal representative said on the 24th through Paradise, Hwang Young-woong's fan cafe, "There were reports that Hwang Young-woong was involved in a dispute over the right to perform, but this is not true at all and there are no problems with the showcase."
"We will respond in accordance with official procedures," he said. "Hwang Young-woong's showcase at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, on February 8 and February 9 is expected to proceed as scheduled."
The previous day, a media outlet reported that Hwang Young-woong was involved in a dispute over the right to perform.
According to the media, agency A, which has the right to perform Hwang Young-woong, recently filed an injunction against Hwang Young-woong's performance in Seoul with the Seoul Eastern District Court.
In an interview with the media, agency A said "We are preparing for a Hwang Young-woong concert this spring, but Hwang Young-woong will exclude agency A and hold a two-day performance at Case 4 Dome with a third agency. Even though I told him not to push ahead, he insisted that it was emphasized as a showcase, not a concert.
Hwang Young-woong was mentioned as a strong candidate for MBN 'Burning Trotman', but he dropped out of the audition due to controversy over his personal life, including allegations of school violence, previous injuries, controversy over dating violence, and false career. He said he would have a time for self-reflection, but soon after, he officially released the album and resumed his activities, drawing criticism.
