Actor Wi Ha-joon (34) said he went on an ultra-extreme diet to cut off water and lose 3kg.

Wi Ha-joon met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 7th and interviewed Netflix's original series 'Squid Game 2' (written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk).

When asked how he felt after the release, Wi Ha-joon said, `I was also happy because many fans from all over the world liked it. I did it with the mindset that I came out to say hello to the fans just because I was on Season 1, but I was so proud and thankful that more fans liked it than I thought and there were many other fans"Thank you for saving Jun-ho, and I thought he was saving Jun-ho in the middle and in season 3. I was grateful for the part where Junho's story was told outside the game."

However, most of Hwang Joon-ho's stories were regrettable because they took place at sea. From the viewers' point of view, it was a bit frustrating. Wei Ha-jun thought that Jun-ho's story should not be a big part because he had to solve the game-oriented story and the narratives of new characters. I think this is the right amount, and I think it will be more dynamic in season 3, so please look forward to it."

Wi Ha-joon, a young Wando man and the son of a fish farm, said he was familiar with filming the sea. He said "I've never driven a ship, but when I docked, he tied the rope naturally. It's chaotic and confusing, so I think I tied the string saying, `You have to tie it here.'It came out naturally without even realizing it," he said, drawing laughter.

Since it was Season 2, which drew three years later, Wi Ha-joon also drew external changes. He said "It was good because there were a lot of comments that the uniform was sexy. I was grateful to have that god. I did some arm exercises, tanned, lost weight, and exercised. It's a little darker than season 1, and I didn't shave my beard, and I purposely tried to give it a more haggard look. I also think it looked a little rougher. People around me say 'I'm sure I'm old', but it seemed to fit Junho's character. In season one, I felt young. I saw it again.

Wi Ha-joon then said, `It's my first time to take a picture of me opening my eyes at the hospital, but I couldn't tell (I lost weight) when I took a picture with the obituary. I stopped the water completely then. He cut off the water and lost 3kg in a day as if he was counting. I starved myself, chose to lose water for two days, went into the sauna, ran in sweat suits, didn't drink water and took it out, but it was so hard. I grew my beard for a long time", he explained.

'Squid Game 2' is a story about a fierce battle between Ki-hoon'(Lee Jung-jae) who returns to play after vowing revenge, and 'Frontman'(Lee Byung-hun) who greets him, and a real game that begins again. Since its release on December 26, it has recorded 68,000,000 viewers (view time divided by the total running time of the work) in four days, topping the global TOP 10. In addition, the first week alone ranked seventh in Netflix's all-time most popular series (non-English), setting a record for the highest number of viewers in the public week. This is a record that far exceeds the 50.1 million viewers in the first week of 'Wendday'. Season 1 is also ranked third in the Global Top 10 Series (non-English), drawing enthusiastic responses from viewers around the world.
