Lee Seung-gi has started his first volunteer work since he was appointed as an ambassador for the Korean Red Cross (Chairman Kim Chul-soo).

On the 17th, Lee Seung-gi and the Korean Red Cross conducted rice cake soup sharing volunteer activities for the vulnerable at the warm filling place of free school meal facilities near Seoul Station.

The Warm Filling Center is a free school meal facility commissioned by the Korean Red Cross since May 2022, providing meals to about 130,000 people twice a day and 730 times a year for vulnerable groups such as homeless people. Currently, 11 organizations are participating in meal service here and continuing their hands of sharing.

Lee Seung-ki, a public relations ambassador, Kim Cheol-soo, chairman of the Korean Red Cross, Choi Ho-jung, chairman of the Seoul Metropolitan Council, Lee Jung-ha, chairman of the Talent Sharing Committee, and members of the university RCY participated in the volunteer work to spread the community's sharing culture and convey warmth to neighbors in need.

Lee Seung-gi and the participants carefully prepared a meal for 200 people consisting of beef tteok dumpling soup, stir-fried pork kimchi, and cup fruits, and delivered themselves to share the warm atmosphere of the Lunar New Year holiday. In addition, 200 pairs of warm gloves were delivered to users who finished their meals to overcome the winter cold, adding to their hearts.

Lee Seung-gi, who expressed his ambition to use it a lot for Red Cross humanitarian activities at the ceremony for the appointment of an honorary ambassador of the Korean Red Cross on the 7th, participated in volunteer activities after 10 days of appointment and showed sincerity. It is rewarding to be able to share rice cake soup sharing service in the New Year as an ambassador for the Korean Red Cross. What I feel every time I volunteer is that there are so many people in need of help in our society. I ask you to join the service where many people can share their warmth. I hope 2025 will be a year to share more happy and warm warmth."




Chairman Kim Cheol-soo of the Korean Red Cross said, "It was very meaningful to share my warm heart with those in need for the Lunar New Year holiday."The Red Cross will continue to strive for our neighbors in need in the future."

Meanwhile, Lee Seung-gi, who was active in music, film and entertainment last year, plans to continue his active activities through various channels in the new year.
