Lee Young-ae’s Hannam-dong Property Value Soars by 2.5 Billion Won

News 1 reported on the 19th, citing the Building Road Real Estate Corporation, that the current market price of a detached house purchased by Lee Young-ae for 1.03 billion won 12 years ago is expected to be about 3.6 billion won.
In August 2012, Lee Young-ae purchased a detached house with a land size of 45 pyeong and a total floor area of 47 pyeong, located on the side road near Hannam-dong 'Gomdegasong-gil' in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, for 1.04 billion won (2.36 million won per pyeong). Of these, 525 million won is believed to have been covered by loans.
Lee Young-ae used the building as the main office of her one-person agency, but changed it to a neighborhood living facility in 2018, and now a cafe is located.
According to reports, as of June 2024, the land opposite the building was traded at KRW 121 million to KRW 123 million per pyeong, and multi-family houses 100 meters away were sold at KRW 80 million per pyeong.
Based on this, experts estimate the market price of the building owned by Lee Young-ae at about 3.6 billion won. This is a market margin of about 3.6 times the purchase cost.
Meanwhile, Lee married a Korean-American businessman 20 years older in 2009 and has twin siblings.In particular, her husband, Jung Ho-young, was surprised to hear that her assets were about 2 trillion won.
