Meanwhile, the high-ranking government official's Criminal Investigation Office attempted to enter the jurisdiction to execute a warrant for President Yoon's arrest from around 8:04 a.m., but withdrew at around 1:30 p.m. due to a confrontation with the security agency. The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit filed an arrest warrant with the court on December 30 last year after President Yoon refused to comply with his request for attendance three times and was issued the following morning. President Yoon is accused of declaring an unconstitutional and illegal December 3 emergency martial law and mobilizing military and police to riot for the purpose of national constitutional controversy (insurrection leader and abuse of authority).
