Q: 'My perfect secretary' is getting a hot response, so please tell me how you feel.
A: I wonder what's going on here. It is dazed and amazing to receive too much love. It is all thanks to the best actors, staff, and production staff that we were able to get such a hot response. 'My perfect secretary' team was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much to everyone who was with me and to the viewers who loved the drama.
Q: How did you feel about casting Han Ji-min and Lee Jun-hyuk. I also wonder how you saw the acting of the two actors.
A: I still vividly remember hearing the news of Han Ji-min and Lee Jun-hyuk's casting. I got a call from the cafe while editing the script, which was one of the unforgettable scenes in my life, "That's enough. I thought, "I'm the only one who needs to do well." While I was happy that the combination of dreams came true, I was also afraid that I should not spoil what the viewers had been looking forward to for a long time.
Ji-yoon and Eun-ho were completed when Han Ji-min and Lee Jun-hyuk met. It shows not only the external image, but also the tension of adult romance and the excitement of daily romance with delicate emotional expression and perfect control, and shows acting and chemistry beyond what is expressed in the script, so I watch it with admiration from the viewer's point of view every week. My first meeting with the two actors was memorable, and they called each other "Ji Yoon " and "Eun Ho ". I felt like I had actually seen a character who only existed in the script. From the beginning, they were Kang Ji-yoon and Yoo Eun-ho themselves.
Q. What part did you pay particular attention to Jiyoon and Eunho's emotional line and the details of the development.
A: Ji-yoon and Eun-ho's love slowly permeates and builds up, so when they realized their feelings, they already completely permeated each other and thought that there was no answer except to admit it. Since they are not easy to open their hearts to someone, it was more important to build up emotions in everyday life, and I hoped that the process of gradually turning compassion or emotions that began at work into love could be seen. Basically, I thought it would be nice to leave love and have a relationship that respects and recognizes each other personally, so I paid attention to that part.

A: "Talking about care" was the beginning of this work. As a result, Ji-yoon, a lonely female representative who survived only with her ability, and Eun-ho, a male secretary who can take care of and transform her and her world with perfect humanism, came to mind. As I made the character first and thought about the episodes or lines based on it, scenes of twisting clichés were born as a result.
Q: Eunho is a person who concentrates his ideal fantasy. How did you make the details of these characters.
A: Eunho is a fantasy collective of many women, but she is actually my fantasy collective. Personally, I think kindness and humor are the most powerful weapons humans have. Because it has the power to change many things. Above all, the point was to take care of Ji-yoon delicately with the parenting skills that Eun-ho naturally acquired while raising Byul (Ki So-yu), and the staff and actor Lee Joon-hyuk filled in the parts I had not thought of with richer details. I think the probability of a fantasy-like character named Eunho was completed by actor Lee Joon-hyuk.
Q. On the other hand, I also wonder why you set Jiyoon to 'adult'.
A. I think Ji Yoon is as focused on women's fantasy as Eun Ho. If Eun-ho wants to have someone, Ji-yoon, who is thorough and perfect at work, is someone who wants to be. For Ji-yoon, who survived alone without being cared for, the work was survival, so it was compulsively perfect. As a result, there were parts that I did not care about, and although I was not aware of my daily life, human relationships, my mind was pierced. I hope adults who can't take care of themselves will sympathize with Ji-yoon and be comforted with her while watching her take care of her. I didn't want Ji-yoon to be seen as a mean person, so I hoped that lovely and cute figures would be highlighted when I was with Mi-ae (Lee Sang-hee). In fact, this part is a big part that I trusted actor Han Ji-min, and thanks to her expression so well, Ji-yoon became a cool and lovely character.
Q. What message do you want to convey through 'my perfect secretary'.
A. As stated earlier, this drama is about caring. I don't think caring is a story limited to young children. It is a story of adults who look at each other generously, wait for each other, and grow up. It expressed the hope that there would be more adults like this. It may sound a bit clichéd, but it's these little bona fides that move the world forward at all. For someone in need of care, I hope it will be a comforting drama.
Q. Finally, please point out the points to watch in the second half of 'My Perfect Secretary'.
A. Now relationships are moving forward in earnest. Please watch how Ji-yoon and Eun-ho comfort and touch each other's wounds and move forward. In addition, please pay attention to the painful but cute unrequited love solidarity of Jung Hoon (Kim Do Hoon) and Su Hyun (Kim Yoon Hye).
