Everything was crying, it wasn't enough...Ahn Hyun-mo's condolence letter → deleted → heartbreak that ended with an apology

Interpreter and broadcaster Ahn Hyun-mo eventually apologized for the controversy over the Jeju Air plane disaster.

On the 1st, Ahn Hyun-mo said on his personal account, "There was my lack of trying to convey my sorrow."

He added "There is no way to put down his heartbreak. I would like to express my sincere condolences to the bereaved family who must have suffered greatly from this incident. I pray for the repose of those who died."

Earlier on December 30 last year, Ahn Hyun-mo said, "I've been on the plane for days on Friday, Saturday, and today, but everything I flew and got off was luck. He drew attention by posting, "I'm grateful for everything. The more I think about it, the more I can breathe in and out…" It was a tribute to the Jeju Air plane disaster that occurred the day before.

However, Ahn Hyun-mo's tribute immediately sparked another controversy. Among the words he mentioned, the words and expressions 'all luck' stimulated netizens' uncomfortable feelings. A lot of criticism was poured into Ahn Hyun-mo's carelessness, which described the tragic disaster as just 'luck'. Conscious of the controversy, Ahn Hyun-mo first closed the comment section of the memorial post to watch the issue and later deleted the post to be conscious of public opinion. Nevertheless, Ahn Hyun-mo eventually published an apology as criticism continued, and bowed his head, saying, `There was my lack.'

Meanwhile, 175 passengers and four crew members were killed in the Jeju Air plane disaster. Currently, the government has declared Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do, a special disaster area and designated it as a national mourning period until the 4th.
