Rapper San E Sent to Prosecution Over Assault Charges

The Mapo Police Station in Seoul said on the 22nd that it sent San E without detention on the 10th on charges of special assault.
San is accused of assaulting a passerby at the entrance of a park in Mapo-gu, Seoul, at around 8:30 p.m. on July 28 last year, with the intention of 'drag the bicycle upright'.
The incident reportedly caused A to tear near his eyes and damage to some of his teeth. As A's injury was confirmed, the charges against San E were also changed from special assault to suspicious injury.
San E's father, identified only by his surname Jeong, was also booked for assaulting A at the time, but Jeong and A did not want to punish each other during the settlement process due to bilateral assault, so the investigation was terminated in accordance with anti-will penalty regulations.
When the case became known, San belatedly apologized to the victim through his lawyer" made a statement.
