A police official said at a regular press conference on the 6th that "(Song Min-ho) has not yet been investigated, but after the analysis (of CCTV and other data) is completed, we will summon and investigate."
The police are investigating after receiving an investigation request from the Military Manpower Administration on the 23rd of last month for Song Min-ho's alleged violation of the Military Service Act. In addition, on the 27th of last month, a search and seizure of a resident convenience facility in Mapo-gu, where Song Min-ho worked, secured closed-circuit (CC) TV video data.
Accordingly, the police are analyzing Song Min-ho's commuting time based on the data obtained.
Meanwhile, Song Min-ho joined the military as a social service worker in March last year and was canceled on the 23rd of last month. However, when it was reported that he did not work properly during this period, he was embroiled in a controversy over poor service.
YG Entertainment, the agency, explained that `Sick leave was for treatment purposes and other vacations were used in accordance with regulations,' and the person in charge of Song Min-ho's workplace also explained that `Song Min-ho was classified as a target for early discharge due to panic disorder and depression, but he had a strong will to endure to engage in entertainment activities" wrapped around it.
