On the 1st, Kim Dong-wook wrote in his personal account, `It is never right to force sadness for any reason. It's not that you're not sad because you don't post a picture on social media, it's not that you're not paying tribute because you didn't write a single article. "The new year has dawned, and we should all live another year in joy and sadness with our loved ones and smile and tears, shouldn't we?" he said.
He then said "Let's make this year a year that can benefit the world, with reason to judge what is right and wrong."
He also said, `I'm writing a song with that mind, so let's live with the idea that I can make a better world for my age. "Too much?" he said.
