Recently, a video titled 「Hidden Details & Filming Behind the Thanos Scene」 was posted on Netflix Korea's official YouTube channel.
Top played the retired 'weakness' rapper Thanos in 'Squid Game 2'. "I wanted to make a character that didn't exist after much consultation with the director, so I wanted to make gestures like old people and exaggerated gestures to give people a strange feeling whether it was unfavorable or cringe," Top said of Thanos.
Then "Tanos actually speaks a lot of old-fashioned lines for his age. A rapper named Thanos is a friend whose time has stayed in the past. He went bankrupt in the 2000s, so I talked a lot with the director about how to make it cringe and tried to maximize it" he said.

"The rap written in the script was longer and had more letters, but the director said, "Let's think freely about what kind of rap the character Thanos will do and discuss it with us." So I thought it would be nice if there were no letters, so I took a video of it on my phone, sent it to you, and excessive gestures and things like that were decided."
He said he also aimed for short-forms such as shorts and reels. "These days, you can see a lot of them as shorts and reels, so I tried to do a very intuitive rap so that you can easily follow them. I tried to emphasize that character a lot in that way because I thought if I did it well, I wouldn't look like a rapper who failed and came into the game."
