Actor Wi Ha-joon (34) mentioned the fee.

Wi Ha-joon met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 7th to interview Netflix's original series 'Squid Game 2' (written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk) and expressed his feelings about appearing in season 2 following season 1.

Wei Hajun "It was a burden at first. It was a burden in the beginning as it focused on the first and second parts of season 2. Instead, I decided to enjoy it as much as possibleWhile filming in the beginning, I interacted and talked with Lee Jung-jae more than in season 1. He gently cheered me on by saying, `You're doing a good job.' I also had a lot of conversations with the director. Jun-ho is a character who has to stay silent and cool-headed rather than expressing intense emotions since season 1, so it was difficult while acting, and I thought about what to do. He explained, "The director took the center of this well, so I gave a lot of opinions and received them."

We have 11.46 million followers. Following season 1, season 2 is also showing a significant increase. Wei Ha-jun said "I think there's been an increase of about 900,000 people." He added "It was amazing to see such a global increase in season 1, but in fact, at some point, tens of thousands of people fell out and suddenly increased again. So I didn't think much about followers. I don't think I've become attached to it."

Wi Ha-joon then denied the 300 million theory of the appearance fee for 「Squid Game" reported by an American media outlet, saying, `I don't know who wrote it. 300 million? Not me at all. "I think he did a better job than in season 1," he said with a smile.

Wei Ha-jun then said "I actually paid my parents a little, and originally wanted to give them a better car, but when I changed the first car, it broke down and almost caused an accident, so I had no choice but to change it. But he was good at riding it again, and he said, `I'll change it for you next time by doing the work,' but this time, he changed it in such a way that his life was in danger because he was driving a truck again and there was a big accident. It's true that I changed it, but I changed it like that because I had no choice but to buy an old used one, not a pleasant 'flex'. On both occasions, there was an accident that was life-threatening, so I hurriedly changed it. I bought you delicious food, pocket money, and pretty clothes, but I haven't given you anything yet with joy.

'Squid Game 2' is a story about a fierce battle between Ki-hoon'(Lee Jung-jae) who returns to play after vowing revenge, and 'Frontman'(Lee Byung-hun) who greets him, and a real game that begins again. Since its release on December 26, it has recorded 68,000,000 viewers (view time divided by the total running time of the work) in four days, topping the global TOP 10. In addition, the first week alone ranked seventh in Netflix's all-time most popular series (non-English), setting a record for the highest number of viewers in the public week. This is a record that far exceeds the 50.1 million viewers in the first week of 'Wendday'. Season 1 is also ranked third in the Global Top 10 Series (non-English), drawing enthusiastic responses from viewers around the world.
